How do you build a full volleyball team from scratch, starting with 2 players practising on a tiny patch of grass, and catapult them onto centre court to win gold at the Canadian National Championships? Well, Coach Sis Phant did just that ~ with Team Harmony, just north of Toronto. And it was no accident. As I interview each player, join me in discovering how the deliberate focus from Coach Sis on respect, kindness and connection developed a powerful loyalty that motivated them to bring their A game to every single touch of the ball. The best part of this story? I never predicted that I'd learn so much from these 16-year-old girls who sparkle with wisdom and extraordinary emotional intelligence equivalent to Harvard graduates. Come ~ be surprised. Be inspired.

  • 9) Megan Chiang 🏅 "Now is the time to showcase everything that you’ve got ~ to not hold back…to not shy away. Let everything go at this moment. I think that's what helped us win the national title."
    May 21 2025

Canadian…National…Champion. Wow. What a title. But, let’s take it one step further. Imagine a team of extraordinary athletes who went on to become # 1 in Canada. Now, just imagine being captain of that very same remarkable team.

    The sport? Volleyball.
The team? Harmony, from just north of Toronto.
    The captain? Megan Chiang.

The most surprising part? She feels no pressure being captain of such an amazing line-up. Honestly? It says just as much about her teammates as it does about Megan’s own mindset.

In today’s interview, I love the dichotomy Megan brings with a natural flow. At times she is bursting with so much excitement that I am convinced I’m in the stadium ~ and even on the court ~ with her and the entire team.

Other times, she is reflective and full of so much wisdom and advice that it seems impossible to be coming from a 16-year-old.

Join me in discovering the heart and soul, ~ plus the blood, sweat and tears ~ that have gone into creating and polishing this remarkable young champion.

    Here we go!

  • 8) Eva Lin 🏅 "The amount of time, effort and dedication I've put in has paid off in many ways. But it all came from Step 1 ~ just joining a team."
    Mar 14 2025

Have you ever been on the verge of quitting something but persevered…and the results were life-altering? If so, you’re in good company today with my very special guest ~ Eva Lin.

I’m so glad that you’ve tuned in for today’s interview that will have you wishing you could even just carry Team Harmony’s luggage to any one of their sensational tournaments around the globe.

Eva almost quit volleyball a few years back, not because she’s a quitter, but for reasons I think we can all relate to on some level.

And thank goodness she did persevere…because, not only did it completely alter her life journey, but she is now an incredible role model for all of us, on so many levels.

Eva describes her journey to the podium in such detail and with such passion that it made me feel like I had a front row seat during our interview, despite us being oceans apart.

Join me in discovering what goes on in the mind AND heart of a top Canadian athlete ~ before, during and after becoming a Canadian National Champion.

  • 7) Roselle Mo 🏅 "What was crucial in my journey was the coach. So, it's very important to find a great coach who is willing to lead you and grow you into an amazing athlete as well as a good person."
    Jan 26 2025

Who do you think of when you hear the word trust? Well, for Roselle Mo, she thinks of an entire volleyball team ~ none other than the immensely talented Team Harmony, just north of Toronto.

If you ask her teammates, 3 things stand out about Roselle: hard work, commitment, and determination. But at the core of all of this strength is a very huge and very warm heart.

Join me in discovering the mindset of this impressive young athlete who, according to her coaches and teammates, brings a special Midas touch to her gold medal team.

As a special treat, enjoy Roselle playing the piano for me during a goalsetting session from a few years ago when she was 12...most notably, without any sheet music anywhere to be found, which makes her performance even that much more impressive. Music: River Flows in You (composed by Yiruma)
