    Brion and Nick interview sports columnist for the Des Moines Register, Chad Leistikow (pronounced LYE-stick-oh). Chad has been in the newspaper business for over 34 years, mainly covering Iowa high school and University of Iowa sports teams. He worked at the Iowa City Press-Citizen in high school, and later worked for the Voice of the Hawkeyes, Cedar Rapids Gazette, USA Today and Des Moines Register. He grew up with Brion in Iowa City, and attended college at Iowa with Nick and Brion. He gives insights into Iowa Athletics and how he approaches games and relationships with players and coaches, along with his memories of Iowa sports growing up in Iowa City.

    Brion and Nick interview former Harvard football player and WWE professional wrestler-turned neuroscientist, Chris Nowinski.


    He wrote the investigative book "Head Games: Football’s Concussion Crisis" in 2006 and co- founded the Concussion Legacy Foundation (CLF) in 2007, a non-profit organization leading the fight against concussions and CTE and dedicated to improving the lives of those impacted. He also co-founded the UNITE Brain Bank at the Boston University CTE Center in 2008.


    We invited him on the show to talk about the latest news on CTE and how people who might be impacted by it can seek help for themselves, teammates, friends or family.
