Dr Chimmuanya Pearl Ngele is an Associate Professor at the University of Nigeria (UNN).

Despite being physically challenged by her sight, she emerged as the best in 2005 and has since become one of the youngest professors at UNN, far quicker than her peers.

She devotes her time to counselling persons with Disabilities (PWD) and people having to care for PWD.

Having lived with visual impairment for over 20 years, Chimmuanya shares her story to stir up tenacity and stoicism in young people, especially young women.

She is happily married and blessed with wonderful children.
