 6 years ago, I liked to make my yacht license for the sea.With 16 years-old, I have made my Sailing license, but it got worthless through the introduction of the Yacht license…
How to make it? You have to learn like crazy the international rules for driving ships on the ocean,- 80% of the people fail! And then you have to learn driving a small lousy motorboat and without learning to sail a Sail yacht… It never made sense for me!
I decided to take the examination in Germany, and I didn’t have enough time to go through all the examination question, only 25% I could make…
I flew to Germany, rented a car and did a short training for the motorboat …
Next day, I had to drive to the examination, and the streets were closed through road construction….
Big traffic jam and I was desperately driving around the school and could not enter…
Somehow I made it, went straight to the place of the examination still I was on time…
We entered the room of the examination, and I got the feeling I was dam wrong… I was in the examination room for painters…
I got in a panic and asked where is the room for the yacht license …
I got a half-hour too late for the yacht license…
Never mind I got the question and a blackout…
What to do?
I accepted that I will fail. Through my accepting of failing, I could relax.
Even I had invested in this examination over 800€.
And this trick is always working.
Accept that you can fail and that you don’t care for the results….It is not life-threatening when you fail, it is not important… let it go!
We had 4 hours, 3/4 hour I had lost already…I relaxed and finished the theoretical examination as the first one!Because I didn’t care for the results… and I didn’t like to check it again and again….
It never makes sense to over check your examination question, it makes it even worse!
Let it go …
Practical examination:
Many failed to make the knots in the right way, and I even didn’t exercise them, that was totally wrong…
I asked a girl, and she demonstrated me how to make the knots in the right way… and I learned them.
Ask when you don’t know!!!!
Practical examination in a tiny motorboat with strong side wind… And I should pick up the buoy when always this light boat changed the direction… with the sailing yacht, I could do that… It was a pain in the…
My driver teacher told that I am used on heavy sailing yachts and it was okay… eventually, I could pick up the buoy… Again the driver teacher has made me relax and then it was possible…
The knots I could make in the right way because of that girl…
At the end of the day, I was one of the best from 150!
Learn to relax, and life is easy!
