In this episode, I’m gonna be discussing the history of African Queens, who ruled different parts of Africa for many years. There are a lot of women that think that African women did not rule nations alone without a husband. But there were 13 women that are not only ruled a nation of African countries, but also were behind their sons ruling until they were of age to be able to become the rulers that they became. Shaka Zulu‘s mother is an example of a woman that had a son who was supposed to be in power. And until he was able to rule as an adult, she ruled the country until then. They were women that did not have husbands, but they rule nations and went up against Rome in Greece and war and one. There were others that went against the Portuguese and the French that won their wars as well as queens. Who fought alongside of their warriors in battle against Greece and Rome. We also talk about the fancy trades where light skin women were sold to rich and wealthy other race of men for prostitution. A lot of people don’t know about the fancy trades in the history of light skinned women in slavery. And I think it’s time that women knew about this for the purpose of dark skin women understanding that light skin women were also treated badly as well. So that way it won’t be this thing anymore about light skin and dark skin when it comes to dark skin women not understanding why light skin women are chosen. So I wanted to bring this to light. So I hope this podcast gives not only dark skin women more information about them as queens, also gives light skin. Women are more understanding as to why these men look at them the way they do in a sexual manner.
