Today, we have the distinct honor of hosting Dr. Malika Ladha, a double-board-certified and fellowship-trained dermatologist renowned for her expertise in aesthetic dermatology. With a career marked by a compassionate, patient-centered approach, Dr. Ladha has made a significant impact in the field, combining cutting-edge techniques with a deep commitment to individualized care.

Dr. Malika Ladha is committed to bring excellence to medical and cosmetic dermatology – she is Alberta’s only female cosmetic fellowship-trained dermatologist. Warm and collaborative relationships are at the heart of her approach to patient care. Dr. Ladha focuses on achieving optimal skin health and refined cosmetic results. Dr. Malika Ladha specializes in the art of:
- Neuromodulators (Botox/Dysport)
- Dermal Fillers (including Sculptra)
She is a double board-certified dermatologist in Canada and the USA. Born and raised in Alberta, she completed medical school and dermatology residency at the University of Calgary. She also completed Canada’s only official clinical fellowship in Laser Surgery and Aesthetic Dermatology at the University of Toronto. She then served as medical director of a prestigious clinic in Toronto, and has now returned home to provide dermatological care for Edmontonians.
Dr. Ladha has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals. She is an active leader in various medical organizations, including the Canadian Dermatology Association (former Resident Fellow Society co-chairperson), Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Ladha has been the recipient of various coveted awards, including the 2021 Resident Doctors of Canada Medical Education Award and the 2021 Royal College of Physicians Leadership Award.
