Telling our kids no, setting limits or giving fewer options can feel counter intuitive as a parent that wants to provide the best for their child. But in reality, those very things are what help facilitate imagination, foster creativity and spark a desire for more. In today's episode, I share how having too much was overwhelming and by eliminating things I fueled my kids' imagination. Constraint, ironically, can be one of the best things for a child.
Being a mom is one of the absolute best AND hardest jobs on the planet. Before you get the job, there are all these ideas about what it's like, what you want to do. But when reality hits, it's not at all what you had in mind. And there's no manual for what to do. That's where I come in.
