Boundaries help to foster a sense of trust, safety, and respect both during the divorce process and after. It is important to stand in your power to protect your mental health and well-being. Some important aspects to creating boundaries include:
Establishing physical boundaries early in the separation.
Communicating and enforcing your boundaries.
Recognizing the personality trait of echoism, which is an extreme need to please others that attracts narcissists.
Managing a narcissist personality to diffuse situations.
