Acerca de esta escucha
Elena and Savannah get curious about interviewing members of the Creative Works Community.
You will be part of honest conversations and creative perspectives.
In this first episode, Ashley Handle, an embodiment coach and somatic practitioner, takes the mic.
Ashley works with people through their bodies to help them find more ease and flow. She combines what she learned through dance, yoga, and other movement modalities to coach people through their challenges, blocks, and emotional resilience, including anxiety.
Ashley introduces the concept of "Zazu embodied intelligence," which is a system and a framework for helping people come into balance with their nervous systems and understanding how their ways of being in their bodies are helpful.
Zazu embodied intelligence uses nine core postures or modes of being to mirror certain physiological and emotional states to help people find different ways of being that are more supportive for different contexts. An example of this is the "pillar" posture, which is all about finding a sense of self-agency, allowing individuals to feel capable and confident. The podcast aims to teach listeners how to use their bodies to help their minds, especially when giving presentations or pitching creative ideas.
