Do Good
hello people this is the mad scientist supreme talking today about doing good for others now there was a psychological experiment done a lot of research shows the happiest people are those people that are doing well for others if they believe what they're doing in life benefits others they tend to have a much happier outlook on life and they're feel better about themselves you can be rich and if you're just you know being a wastrel well you're sad essentially but if you're rich and you're giving your money to charity you're you believe you're doing good with your money then you'll be happy and the same if you if you're poor the poorest people that do the most for others do what they can the happiest so you can be poor and happy you can be rich and happy you can be poor and miserable if you're not doing anything for others you're just doing it for yourself and the same with being rich so the idea is to do what you can with what you have to benefit humanity as a whole or at least benefit people so this weekend i benefited someone i used some of my mad scientist knowledge told somebody about how they could improve their life and they thought it was a great idea and they plan on doing it well not only did i benefit them but i benefited myself by giving the information the endomorphins in my brain got released, I feel better knowing that I helped somebody else with their life. So, as you go through these various podcasts I've been doing, find those things that benefit others, not just you, but you can use to benefit others, and in doing so, you'll benefit yourself. So, that's the idea for today. It's a rather short podcast, I admit, but psychology is an important area of study. To call it a science is stretching the term, I think. But, go out there, do good, and, well, you'll be better. Thank you very much for listening. This is the Mad Scientist Supreme, signing out.
