  • Promises For Financial Provision - He Gives (Daily Devotional)
    Jul 7 2025
Greetings and thank you so much for joining us today on our daily devotional. This week, we are talking about God’s promises for financial provision in our lives, for His provision to meet all our financial needs and all our daily needs and life’s necessities. I want to look at Psalm chapter 84, verse 11 today, the scripture says, ‘For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.’ God is a sun and a shield; He gives grace and glory. Grace to strengthen us, help us, empower us; glory to demonstrate His goodness and power in our lives. God is there, He is a supplier, like the sun that is beyond what we need. It is so big and powerful, the Lord God is the sun. He is a shield; He is a protector in our lives. The psalmist says, ‘no good thing will God withhold form those who walk uprightly.’ God is not someone who is holding things back from our lives, the good things we need. No good thing will He withhold form those who walk uprightly. So, that is the picture of God we must have. Our God is not the one who is holding things away from us. He is a God who gives grace and glory and brings full provision into our lives and He is the God who will not withhold any good thing from us, that He will bring it onto our lives. So, have that assurance and guarantee in your life and heart that whatever it is that you need for yourself, your family, your children, your future, remember this, no good thing will God withhold from those who walk uprightly. God will not hold any good thing back from you. So, go for it, believe God for His provision to bring good things into your life according to His word. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you that you will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly. Thank you for releasing good things into our lives. Meet our needs, you take care of all the needs in our lives. For those of us with families, you’re the God who gives grace and glory. You are our sun and shield and you provide us with all the good things we need, in Jesus’ name, Amen. • Promises For Financial Provision - Not Lack Any Good Thing (Daily Devotional)
    Jul 6 2025
Greetings and thank you for joining us today on our daily devotional. It's always a joy to come to you and spend these few moments in God's word and prayer. This week, we are reflecting on scriptures that promise us God's provision, that guarantee or assure us of God's provision in our lives. I want to look at two passages of scripture today. Psalm chapter 34, verses 9 and 10, it says, "Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.’ Another verse of scripture, Psalm chapter 37, verse 25, the psalmist says, "I have been young, and now I'm old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.” God is faithful to provide for us and the psalmist says here, there is no want to those who fear Him, that's the assurance. You take a hold of that promise and say, God, I am a person who fears you and your word says, there is no lack, there is no want to those who fear the Lord. The psalmist in fact said, even the young lions may lack and suffer hunger. So, think about this, this big lioness, so powerful that is ready to take care of its young lion cubs, make sure that it'll catch the prey and feed its own cubs. But it says look, even earthly creatures could fail in taking care of their own but those who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing. So, declare that over your own life. Take a hold of these scriptures for yourself and say God, your word says those who fear you will not lack. There is no want to those who fear you and those who seek you will not lack any good thing. So, Father, I thank you that I will not be in want and I will not be in lack of any good thing because that's what your word says. The psalmist makes this declaration, he says, I've been young, I'm now old and I've never seen the righteous forsaken nor his children begging bread. God will take care of you and your family. That's His promise and guarantee. Take a hold of that and say, "God, that's what I want to see fulfilled in my life and God will do it because He watches over His word to perform it." Let's pray, Father, we thank you for what your word says that there is no want to those who fear you, that those who fear you will not lack any good thing. And so, Father, we thank you that you watch over your word to establish it in our lives, in Jesus’ name, Amen. • Promises For Financial Provision - No Want (Daily Devotional)
    Jul 5 2025
Greetings and thank you so much for joining us this week for our daily devotionals. It's always our joy to come to you and spend a few moments with you in God's word and prayer. This week, we're going to reflect on God's promises for financial provision. Now some of us may be in situations in life where everything is already taken care of and finances are not a matter that we think about day to day, there's abundance everywhere and surplus in all our accounts and that's a wonderful place to be. But we all realize that we don't get there overnight. There may be some of us who are in the early stages of our life's journey or maybe even later, further down in life's journey and for us finances are a challenge, just going from perhaps day to day, week to week, month to month, year to year can be a challenge. Regardless of what our place in life is, whether we are looking to God for our daily bread or whether we are well provided for already, the fact is all of us look to God as the source of our provision, that means God is the one who provides for us. God is the source of supply and provision in our lives and we always look to Him. This week, we just want to look at a few promises, of course, there are many scriptures that we could consider. We'll look at a few that assure us, that remind us that our God is always faithful to provide. We begin today by looking at Psalm chapter 23, a few verses from that psalm. Psalm chapter 23, verse 1, David said, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." God is the shepherd of my life. Just like how a shepherd takes care of his sheep to make sure he leads the sheep to the green pastures where it can be fed to the still waters, where it can have drink, to its resting place, just as a shepherd would take care of the sheep and massage it with oil and heal its wounds and take care of all the details of the sheep, David says, "God is my shepherd." God is so much more than a human shepherd, an earthly shepherd and he says, "Because God is my shepherd, I will not be in want." He closes out that psalm with this proclamation of victory that God prepares a table for me in the presence of my enemies. He anoints my head with oil and my cup overflows. That means God's provision and portion in my life is overflowing, it's in surplus, it's in abundance. And that's the assurance we have that the Lord is our shepherd, we will not be in want. He's going to bring us to this place where our cup overflows and surely goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our life. Let's believe that and journey into it. Let's pray, Father, we thank you that you are our shepherd and therefore, you provide for us each and every day and you bring us into that place where our cups overflow. We thank you that you're faithful to do it, in Jesus' name, Amen. Thank you for tuning in to Living Supernaturally, for more resources to strengthen your spiritual walk, please visit apcwo.org. • The Book Of Joshua - Sharing The Inheritance (Daily Devotional)
    Jul 4 2025
Greetings and welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to minister God’s word and to spend a few moments in prayer. This week, we have been talking about the book of Joshua and learning lessons on how God dealt with the people of Israel. We will bring this week to a close by talking about sharing the inheritance. Joshua chapter 21, verses 1 to 3, ‘Now the family heads of the Levites approached Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the other tribal families of Israel at Shiloh in Canaan and said to them, “The Lord commanded through Moses that you give us towns to live in, with pasturelands for our livestock.” So, as the Lord had commanded, the Israelites gave the Levites the following towns and pasturelands out of their own inheritance.’ After nearly all the tribes had received their inheritance from the land, it was necessary for the Levites to receive their allotment. They received towns and pasturelands from all the tribes as God had commanded. The tribe of Levi had no region of land because God had declared that He would be their inheritance. However, they had to live somewhere, so each tribe gave them cities and common lands. As they were spread evenly through the land, no one in Israel was far from the ministry of God’s word. This shows how important it was for God’s people to have ongoing teaching, empowering and explanation of God’s word. Today, God also wants to distribute His people broadly throughout the world. God doesn’t intend that a single Christian nation or state where all Christian people live together in spiritual bliss and say to the world, come and join us if you want. Instead, God wants us as Christians to be priests, sprinkled throughout the whole land, influencing people for Jesus Christ and being a messenger of His word. The Lord required this because the tribe of Levi was to serve God as priests and caretakers of the Lord’s house at the tent of meeting. The grant of towns and pasture lands throughout Israel to the tribe of Levi made it possible for priests and Levites to serve as a constant reminder that all of Israel lived in the Lord’ presence, no matter how far they lived for the tabernacle. That was good for it prevented those who loved close to the tabernacle from thinking they were something special. God’s only Son, our ultimate high priests, Jesus Christ, brings us into God’s presence. In that way, you and I as believes, no matter where we live, share the inheritance that Jesus gained on the cross which He died for our sins. He stands before God on our behalf and we are credited with His righteousness. We all live in God’s presence. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you for this entire week and the lessons we learnt from this book. We pray that you will enable and empower us to apply all these lessons and principles into our lives. We thank you that your Holy Spirit will lead and guide us every step of the way, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. • The Book Of Joshua - The Sword Of The Lord (Daily Devotional)
    Jul 3 2025
Greetings and welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you once again for giving us this opportunity to minister God’s word and spend a few moments in prayer. We have been talking about the book of Joshua and today, we will talk about the sword of the Lord. Joshua chapter 5, verses 13 to 15, ‘Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?” “The commander of the Lord’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so. “Neither,” he replied, “but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, “What message does my Lord have for his servant?” The commander of the Lord’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.’ The instruction to circumcise the Israelite soldiers made no military sense at all. Blood loss from surgery would weaken the army, it would take extra time for the men to regain their strength but the surgery God required would show God’s strength through Israel’ weakness. Before wielding the sword against the people of Canaan, God used it in a sense on His own people to remind them of their own identity. Since the time of Abraham, circumcision had been a sign of complete, total commitment to God. Before engaging in the battle against Jericho, God called Israel to affirm their commitment, to show they belonged to Him- body, mind and soul. In addition, Joshua learnt from the Lord’s army commander that he had to change the thinking of the people as they prepare for battle and do things God’s way. Joshua boldly approached this mysterious man with a sword. As a shepherd over God’s people, Joshua had the responsibility to see if this armed man was a friend or foe. This expression appears in two other places in the bible, with a reference to an angel who stops Balaam and his donkey and the angel who stands ready to execute punishment for David census. A figure with a drawn sword is not one to be taken lightly. Are you for us or for our enemies, was the question asked by Joshua. This was a logical question but the response of the man was curious and almost vague. No was not a proper answer to Joshua’ question. In a sense, the man refused to answer Joshua’ question because it was not the right question and not the most important question to be asked at that time. The question wasn’t really if the Lord was on Joshua’ side, the proper question was if Joshua and the people of Israel were on the Lord’s side. Joshua’ total submission to the commander shows that he knew this man who was definitely greater in rank. Today, we engage in bringing the gospel of the Lord to people who do not believe in Him. What conditions must we meet before doing so? Must we make sure we get a proper education, gain a backing of a church, be willing to be scorned, have enough time to visit people? All these are important but not enough. The condition is we must die to ourselves and yield to the Lord’s way. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you for you word and for teaching us to trust and to depend on you. Even though we may have knowledge on how to go about doing things, we completely depend on your Spirit to give us the wisdom to be successful in everything that we do, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. • The Book Of Joshua - Rahab’s House (Daily Devotional)
    Jun 30 2025
Greetings once again and welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to minister to you and spend a few moments in prayer. This week, we are talking from the book of Joshua. Today, we will look at Rahab’s house. Joshua chapter 2, verses 1 and 2, ‘Then Joshua, son of Nun secretly sent two spies from Shittim. “Go, look over the land,” he said, “especially Jericho.” So, they went and entered the house of a prostitute named Rahab and stayed there. The king of Jericho was told, “Look, some of the Israelites have come here tonight to spy out the land.” ‘Rahab’s house was a kind of place the bible warns young men to stay away from. Proverbs chapter 7, verse 27 puts it this way, ‘Her house is a highway to the grave, leading down to the chambers of death.’ The Israelite spies entered the house of a wayward woman. We aren’t told why but we do learn later that she became a believer in God. The gods of Canaanite Jericho had been getting credit for the rains on the land that fed Rahab and her fellow citizens. But the Canaanites mistook the source of the field’s fertility because they lived in a land and they didn’t honor and believe in the true, living God. As Rahab the prostitute had wasted her body, so the people of Canaan, failed to honor the true God, but still there was hope. It is good to know that Rahab gave up the false beliefs and empty idols of Canaan and surrendered completely to God. To the kings’ messengers, Rahab said in effect, I don’t know where those guys came from or where they went. Then Rahab went to the spies’ hiding place and confessed what she did know. It is over for Cana, our gods are incapable of dealing with the Lord, your God who rules the heavens and the earth. I know we are as defeated as the kings your God defeated in the desert and on the other side of Jordan. Rahab’s words underscore her actions. Not only does she confess that Canaan’s future lies in God’s hands but also by making this confession, she becomes a traitor to her own people. After the spies’ escape, they return to Israel’s camp and inform Joshua about Rahab’ commitment. Through an outsider, the Lord helped Israel see that God will surely give them the promised land. This example was important to help the people of Israel and the people of the other nations. It was a sign that God wants people from all nations in His family. We learn later that Rahab became one of Jesus’ ancestors. She was an outsider who came into God’s family by grace and faith. May we seek to always glorify that one true God. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you for the lessons that we learn from your word. Even through an outsider, from a Gentile, you taught the people of Israel that you will give them the land of Canaan. We pray that we will learn to honor and glorify you in every area of our life. We commit ourselves to you, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
