Hannah Parry began her career as a pediatric nurse before earning a master’s degree in Creative Writing from Birkbeck College, University of London. An accomplished writer, she has published four short stories, including *Farrukh and the Matchmaker*, which made the longlist for the BBC Short Story Award in 2021, and *The Chrysalis*, a 2021 Pushcart Prize nominee.

Beyond her own writing, Hannah has worked as a beta reader for established authors and contributed to the editorial team of the *Mechanics’ Institute Review Short Story Anthology* in 2018.

Hannah has authored two middle-grade historical thrillers—*Winter’s Bite* and *Fever Quest*—as well as two commercial fiction novels, which she publishes under the name H.P. Parry. Her psychological thriller *Breathing for Both of Us*, developed during the Curtis Brown Creative writing course in London, was released in December 2023.

Her upcoming upmarket fiction novel, *The Baby Exchange*, is set for publication in December 2024.
