Acerca de esta escucha

Lengdung Tungchamma Apolos is a Nigerian community developer, educator, and social entrepreneur from Jenta Adamu, a once-violent slum in Jos, Plateau State. Since 2015, he has worked to transform his community through education, leadership, and grassroots initiatives. After the tragic loss of his mother in 2009, Lengdung found solace in reading a turning point that inspired his lifelong dedication to learning and change.

He co-founded the Jenta Reads Community Initiative, which uses informal education and a community library to empower locals, especially children. As a professional programmer and Computer Science student at the University of Jos, he teaches coding and ICT skills to young people. He also coordinates Book-Troverts, a reading community, and co-founded Alpha25, a youth-focused development group.

Lengdung's leadership extends beyond Jos he is a YALI and African Presidential Leadership Program alumnus and Director of Volunteering for Books for Africa. His memoir, Motion: A Jenta Story, shares the powerful journey of transforming a marginali cosedmmunity into a beacon of hope.

With a vision to replicate Jenta’s success across Africa, Lengdung remains committed to building individuals who can, in turn, build their communities and reshape the world.

If you've ever felt stuck, silent, or unseen, this book is a gentle push toward the light. Let Motion remind you: forward is forward, no matter the pace.
