    John Warner brings over five decades of legal experience and community leadership to our conversation. A graduate of Memphis State University Law School and former JAG Officer in the U.S. Army, John has practiced law in Union City, Tennessee since 1971. His diverse legal background spans agricultural law, estate planning, and business formation, with early roots in journalism, military justice, and public service.

    Throughout his life, John has remained committed to civic involvement. He now practices alongside his son Jack, focusing on helping locally owned businesses and families navigate legal processes with care and clarity.

    Taneum Fotheringill is passionate about bringing people together and empowering community leaders—whether they identify as leaders or not. As the Director of Programs and Partnerships at Rural Assembly, she builds strong local connections that are the foundation for national narrative work supporting inclusive, rural communities. With a background in nonprofit program management, Taneum has a knack for guiding and connecting people to create meaningful community impact. Previously, at Citizen University, she supported over 120 local leaders in implementing civic engagement programs and developed strategies to strengthen their networks. She's also a proud volunteer advisor for the Washington YMCA Youth Legislature, where she helps teens from across the state engage with democracy. With degrees in Public Affairs and Humanities for Leadership from Seattle University, Taneum knows the value of pairing practical tools with human-centered ideas. Taneum enjoys collaborating with colleagues to make work life better by focusing on relationships, shared history, and thoughtful processes. When she's not working, she's likely knitting and reflecting on the threads that bind us all together.

A former social worker, HR consultant, and EEO investigator, she’s been mediating since 1995 and was a founding member of TAPM (Tennessee Association of Professional Mediators) and its predecessor MAT (Mediation Association of Tennessee. She also served as TAPM’s newsletter editor for over a decade.

    Raised on a farm in Arkansas as one of eight children, Regina brings deep wisdom and lived experience to every conversation.

Jennifer’s background, shaped by her upbringing in a military family, provides a unique perspective on leadership and resilience. She holds an undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Psychology, a graduate degree in Higher Education Administration, and graduate certificates in Health Professions Education and Human Resources Leadership.

    Guided by the principles of empathy, integrity, and continuous learning, Jennifer is passionate about helping young professionals develop their leadership brands with intention and purpose. She also coaches others to cultivate meaningful relationships that help drive success and career growth.

    Jennifer is a member of the International Ombuds Association and enjoys participating at various local, national, and international conferences on leadership and medical education.
