It's week 4 with Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas, and we're reading chapters 38-50. This week, Aelin and crew finally make it out of the cave and get a visitor who helps them decide what to do next! Chaol, Yrene and crew are battling Morath in Annielle, while Lysandra and Aedion are dealing with Morath in Terrassen, even though Aedion is still being a d-bag. Dorian and Manon are also on the rocks because Manon is mad that Dorian wants to get the keys...even though they need the keys.

It's week 3 with Sarah J Maas' Kingdom of Ash, the last book in the Throne of Glass series, and we're reading chapters 24-37. This week, Manon and Dorian deal with the crochans, and they face the consequences of their actions. Dorian gets to chat with Kaltain, which is nice because she died a couple of books ago. Chaol and Yrene head to Chaol's dad's house, and he isn't a cool guy. Finally, there's a rescue mission, which is what we wanted the whole time, and Aelin comes to grips with what she's been through while Rowan and crew figure out how to make her whole again....except for Lorcan....he just wants Elide.

It's week 2 with Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas, and we're reading chapters 11-23. Today, Chaol and Yrene decide they are going to help Anielle, and Chaol's jerk dad doesn't appreciate it. Aelin has to put up with Maeve and Cairn, but she hurts them and sees some of Maeve's black blood! Rowan and crew are still on a rescue mission to get Aelin back, and they refuse to listen to Elide...typical. Dorian and Manon are still trying to get the Crochans on side, and finally...Aedion is being the worst, and we hate it.

It's a new month, so a new start! We're diving into the last installment of the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas, Kingdom of Ash. Since this book is huge, we're taking two months to read it! We're reading chapters 1-10 today! In this episode, we catch up with the whole gang and figure out what they're doing since Aelin was captured by Maeve! Rowan, Lorca, Gavriel and Elide are looking for her and Elide is still pissed at Lorcan and he's sad about it. Manon and Dorian are looking for Crochan witches, and they do find some! Aedion is the worst towards Lysandra, and she just takes it. Finally, Chaol and Yrene are living their best lives on a ship, being all happy and in love, while Nesryn and Sartaq are too...lol

It's our last week with One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig and we're reading chapters 28-35. This week, Elspeth deals with her increasing degeneration and is forced to play a dangerous game involving the chalice by Hauth and some interesting truths come out. Elspeth finally lets Ravyn in on her true magic but before he can do something to help her, Hauth takes her captive and lives to regret it, and Nightmare takes center stage!

It's week 3 with One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig and we're reading chapters 19-27! This week, we have a chat with new author Noel Stark and chat about her new upcoming title, "Love, Camera, Action!". Then we get into Elspeth and crew! A lot happens this week! Elspeth gets into all kinds of shenanigans and breaks her wrist when she confronts High Prince Hauth as a highwayman - then she can't let him know about it, even though he grabs at it all the time. Hauth tries to assert his dominance with the destrier,s but it doesn't work because Ravyn is too tall and good. Ravyn and Elspeth finally confront that maybe they have the feels for each other, and he asks for her consent for him to kiss her....but where???

It's week two with One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig, and we're reading chapters 10 -18. This week, Eslpeth gets some answers from Ravyn about who he is and what he's up to. Turns out he's keeping even more secrets than she initially knew! They devise a solution to get Elspeth spending more time with Ravyn and his family, and she gets a lead on the other cards that Ravyn was missing - Nightmare helps her with a heist, but magic always comes with a cost!

It's week one with our new novel, One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig, and we're reading chapters 1-9! This week, we untangle the magic system that is this book, and question a lot of things....who is the love interest? How do the cards work? Who is the love interest? ( We talk about this a lot...lol) We spend a lot of time confused...but we have fun doing it! We also struggle with a lot of names...
