Entrepreneur, speaker, mentor, go-to MC, connector, coach, corporate director, leader, traveler.  After several years in the Indigenous public service at the national, regional and local level, Victoria launched her own businesses advancing Indigenous workforce inclusion in civil construction projects across Mi’gmaw territory. Sharing her knowledge of financial literacy with Indigenous youth is Victoria’s passion project. She serves numerous Indigenous boards and currently helps to shape federal policy by serving on the National Indigenous Economic Development Board. Victoria is an alumna of the Governor General Leadership Conference, the Banff Forum and was named WXN Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in both 2019 & 2020.  Listen in as Victoria walks us through her experiences as an entrepreneur, and speaks to our relationship with money and the mentality of abundance!

She is the Founder of Scout Financial Solutions, a financial literacy education and consulting business that provides Personal Finance Life Skills. Vital Financial wellness content is shared through engaging and memorable group workshops and individual consultations. And although her business primarily focuses on knowledge sharing in the Indigenous community, the information provided is relatable to all who seek financial peace and abundance. Armed with relatable life experiences and backed by extensive formal education, this “Money Scout” walks her talk. Cate holds a Business Administration degree, two Financial Educator certifications as well as numerous professional and personal development certificates that include economic development, entrepreneurship, public service, procurement and acquisitions and of course, personal finance!
