At Boost, we’ve built our brand based on a simple idea: Choose Now. But what does that actually mean? In this podcast series, we’re setting out to explore how a Choose Now mindset can change the way you view and experience life. We’ll be talking to individuals who have faced some huge challenges, but they’ve seized the day, stepped out of their comfort zones and pushed themselves, physically and mentally, and come out the other side succeeding. We’ll also be trying to work out how you can apply a Choose Now mindset to your own life – helping you to break down any barriers you might have behind making decisions and living the way you want to live. What’s the opposite of choose Now? Is it procrastination? Is it not reaching our potential? What’s the science behind when we don’t push ourselves out of our comfort zones, when we don’t take that leap? We’ll be looking at how you can kick the bad habits that are stopping you from reaching your potential and hopefully live life to your max.Boost Drinks Ciencias Sociales Economía Gestión y Liderazgo Hygiene & Healthy Living Liderazgo

In this episode Jay London speaks Keeley Taverner, a psychotherapist, accredited counsellor, trainer and business owner.

In 2001, Keeley was, in her own words, an “unskilled checkout operative”. We find out about Keeley’s journey to becoming a psychotherapist, the science behind having a choose now mentality, and the danger of comfort zones and what happens when you stay there.

This is another inspiring episode, helping you to build the foundations of a Choose Now mindset.

Imagine the scenario: one evening, you go to a concert. Then, weeks later, you wake up to find you’re now paralysed from the waist down.

    This happened to Martin Hibbert.

Martin’s life changed on 22nd May 2017 when he found himself just two feet from the blast zone in the Manchester Arena bomb attack. His injuries led to a 14-hour operation which saved his life but meant he would never walk again.

Fast forward a few years and Martin decides to embark on the challenge of a lifetime - attempting to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, aiming to raise £1million for Spinal Injuries Association at the same time.

In this hugely inspiring episode, Jay London and Martin discuss Martin’s life before and after the Arena event, the inspiration and training behind his challenge and his advice for people striving to apply the Choose Now mindset.
