Abong shares the inspiring story of her daughter, Mongai, who at the age of eight, initiated the movement to help children in Cameroon by collecting backpacks and school supplies. This movement has since expanded globally, impacting thousands of children. They also discuss Abong's own nonprofit, A Place of Hope, which focuses on aiding orphans affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa. Additionally, a fundraiser event featuring Dr. Auma Obama is announced for April 26, 2025, aimed at raising 10,000 backpacks for African children.
