We also tackle an "elephant in the room" in regard to the onslaught of hate that Chris Drury seems to be getting lately, and make a case for the moves he's done well for us. Somehow the Rangers have had some news break in the last week, as the so far eventful offseason has officially began. The first order of business, Chris Drury lands his man and likely first choice for head coach in Mike Sullivan just days after he left Pittsburgh. Mike represents the easy choice here, as a safe hire with tremendous upside given the cast of coaches who were available as the season ended. Drury followed his own multi year extension by awarding his pal Sullivan with the richest head coaching contract in NHL history.
