Our guests are Michelle Hamer who has created a limited-edition artist book, I’m A Believer, a poignant, visual exploration of the invalidation and dismissive language that persists in healthcare systems worldwide.

The 228-page artist book is a continuation of Hamer’s iterative art project of the same name, presented at Linden New Art from May to August 2024. It combines Hamer’s evocative series of screen prints, monoprints, and hand-stitched artworks, created through the redaction and anonymisation of personal medical letters and imaging contributed by patients across the globe.

We will also chat with Fem Belling playing alongside the Andrew Murray Big Band at the Big Jazz Day out. Listen in for more details.

Plus all our regular news and views.
