Shao Yang is a Taiwanese-American fashion designer and the founder of The Tailory New York, a bespoke tailoring atelier renowned for its inclusive approach to custom clothing. After immigrating to the United States at age five, she pursued her passion for fashion design at Parsons School of Design, graduating in 2002.

Drawing inspiration from her heritage and a decade of experience in the fashion industry, Shao established The Tailory New York in 2013.

Her atelier offers a personalized, gender-neutral suiting experience, catering to individuals across the gender spectrum and emphasizing self-expression through custom garments.
