Episode 23 -

There is no such thing as unchallenged faith. Satan, other people, and this fallen world will challenge your faith.

1 Timothy 6:12 “Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold on eternal life, to which you are called and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

One of the keys to fighting a good fight of faith is your profession or confession of faith.

1 John 5:4 “for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.”

Episode 22 -

Faith and God's spoken word go together. When you have the God kind of faith, you are going to speak the Word of God.

Mark 11:23 “for assuredly I say to you, whosoever SAYS to this mountain be removed and be cast into the sea and does not doubt in his heart but believes those things he SAYS will come to pass (or be done) he will have whatever he SAYS”.

Episode 21 -

2 Corinthians 4:13 - since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak,

God believed and God spoke. Faith and speaking go hand in hand. It's how he brought the world into existence. And it’s how we come to Christ. You cannot be saved without speaking.

There is no Faith without the Sword of the Spirit, without Rhema, without the Spoken Word of God.

Episode 20 -

A lot of people think that the will of God is like shooting at a target. Sometimes you hit it and sometimes you don't, and that's not the case. The will of God can and should be known.

1 John 5:14-15 "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him."

Episode 19 -

Wisdom is the application of God’s Word. Proverbs 4:7-8 says "For skillful and Godly Wisdom is the principal thing ..." Principal means first in importance. That means the Word of God needs to occupy the place of highest importance in all of your activities. Whatever you are facing, the very first thing you should ask God for is wisdom (James 1:5).

Episode 18 -

Unbelief creates Strongholds in our lives. We pray and fast to deal with unbelief. Prayer and fasting does not cause us to perform better. Prayer and fasting causes us to believe better. Because under the covenant of grace, it's about believing Jesus.

Episode 17 -

What is it that you want? Can I tell you something that may shock you? The things that we think we want are not what we really want. We actually want what we think is on the other side of having the thing we want. And as Christians, those things are already on the inside of us. Psalm 37:4 says ‘Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.’

Episode 16 -

Let’s examine what we already believe, what we already, subconsciously, in our hearts, hold to be true. We hold beliefs based on evidence, but what we mean by "evidence" – well … that certainly varies. Much of what we believe is subjectively based on intuition, experience, and trust in what other people have said. And this can lead to false beliefs.
