Alzheimer’s disease is a chronic memory loss disorder.  It is estimated that over 40 million people worldwide are living with dementia. However, research has indicated that African Americans and Hispanic are at greater risk of getting the disease.  In this interview, Dr. Angela Allen provides a brief overview of Alzheimer’s disease and a need for increased awareness in underserved communities.
