    Ep.95 Part1: Kentucky Wildcat Alumni, Texas native, and former NBA guard with the Charlotte Hornets and Dallas Mavericks, Aaron Harrison, joins us on another episode of the Agee & Gates Hoop Dreams Podcast. The 2013 Texas Mr. Basketball, First Team Parade All-American and McDonald's All-American won the Portuguese Cup in 2024 and was a Turkish League All-Star in 2020. Aaron shares his origin story and his time at Kentucky under coach Calipari. Aaron was part of the teams that went to back-to-back Final Fours in 2014 and 2015. In 2015 the team went 38-1 (18-0 in the SEC) and lost a close finals game against Wisconsin. Aaron discusses his path to the NBA, the impact of the European game and his current business ventures. SNEAKERS! and of course some fashion, hip hop and basketball. Dee is an entrepreneur, teacher, photographer and filmmaker. A true story teller. His passion and curiosity for culture, fashion, sports and music are front and centre in this episode as he shares his origin story and gives his thoughts on the evolution of the sneaker industry, where its going and the way its so tightly intertwined with music and sports. SOLEcial Studies CommUNITY Academy (SSCA) was founded with his business partner and friend Sean Williams. They are focused on creating a better sneaker industry with their ethos being "Appreciate, Educate and Elevate".
