Adult ADHD ADD Tips and Support Podcast - A Podcast for Neurodivergent Creatives. Top 10 Things I've Learned from Life Coaching. This podcast is an audio companion to the book "The Drummer and the Great Mountain - A Guidebook to Transforming Adult ADD / ADHD." In this episode, I share my top 10 insights from my life coaching practice. Having started as a coach in 2007, I may be able to provide a bit of perspective on what an effective support system can look like. I'll offer a few insights into what it looks like to work with our particular wiring over the span of many years. What can change? What can't? Which actions can make the biggest difference in the long run? Specifically, I'll discuss: What are the most common positive traits shared by all of my clients What are the most common challenges What's easy to change What can take a long time to shift What is the common trait among the people that progress the fastest What's the one action that can make the biggest positive difference in the long term Links Mentioned in this Episode: (Website) Alive Life Coaching Don't see a player? I stumbled on this sort-of of by accident, just sampling a lot of different podcasts that i thought might possibly be remotely helpful or interesting. Most were a lot of tedious nonsense.
This one, though, I feel is straight changing my life!!! I was never sure if I had ADD or not. I was never officially diagnosed or anything. But this guy's descriptions were so spot-on so many times. It's like he had a camera in my brain!
It was so affirming to hear things that I thought made me so weird being described as just a certain way your brain can be wired. I plan to listen to every episode twice, buy the book, and then maybe do the next course or workshop.
DEFINITELY give this a listen, especially if you think you might have ADD or know someone who has it, but even if you don't, I honestly can't imagine anyone not finding this stuff useful in one way or another.
Thanks, guy who's name I forgot!

Incredibly helpful and a delight to listen to
