Day 13: Accepting God's Mercy
Scripture Verse: Titus 3:5 (NKJV)
Devotional:
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. Titus's words remind us of the mercy of God, a gift that we cannot earn or deserve.
Accepting God's mercy means acknowledging our need for His forgiveness and grace. It means letting go of our attempts to earn His favor and resting in His finished work on the cross. God's mercy is a source of comfort and hope, a reminder that we are never alone.
As we reflect on the wonder of God's mercy, let us also consider how we can extend it to others. We are called to be vessels of mercy, sharing the love and grace of God with those around us.
Prayers:
Prayer of Gratitude for God's Mercy: "Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your mercy. Thank You for saving me and for giving me new life in Christ. Help me to accept Your mercy fully and to live in the freedom and joy it brings. Amen."
Prayer for Extending Mercy: "Lord, teach me to be a vessel of Your mercy. Help me to extend mercy to those around me, to forgive as You have forgiven me, and to love as You have loved me. May my life be a reflection of Your mercy and bring glory to Your name. Amen."
