  • This week, in Hondo, New Mexico, a very famous person's ranch is the scene of the slaughter of three people. Brutal attacks took these people out, one by one. When the blame falls on the 14 year old son of the ranch's caretaker, the whole area goes crazy, some with support for him, others with anger & vitriol. The case comes down to whether he had a real reason to commit this act, and the evidence is overwhelming!


    Along the way, we find out that: you shouldn't dress teen girls in old west brothel clothes and make them get on a stage; that despite what makers of porn think, not everyone wants to have sex with their stepmother; and that some people are actually kind & forgiving!!

Small Town Murder podcasts

My first podcast EVER was one of the Small Town Murder podcasts. I am addicted and while I have tried other podcasts, I keep coming back to these. It helps, when listening to some terrible murder, that they occasionally joke about a name (town or persons name) or some stupid comment the murderer makes…it breaks things up a bit. I often have to pause the episode because I am laughing so hard😁. Keep up the great work boys!!!

Loved your compassion to Cody 14 years ago.o child turned murderer, and the follow up on his life saved us from having to go and f/u
listened to it with my daughter and we both loved how much you spook for us and she immediately decided to start listening to small town murder

As usual, the story is bonkers...

Good story, I am familiar with a blended family where all the stepsister's crimes and transgressions are blamed on the stepbrother. The brother would then get punished and have to make reparations for whatever was taken. He didn't kill any of the family, but did lie about his age to join the military without parental consent. He turned out OK in the end, step-dad died of cancer, and stepsister ended up on a paternity episode of Jerry Springer. The universe figured it out eventually.
