Acerca de esta escucha
Dr. Corinne Menn is a board-certified OBGYN, Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, and a leading voice in menopause and women’s health. As a 23-year breast cancer survivor, BRCA carrier, and early menopause patient, Dr. Menn has dedicated her career to advocating for women, especially cancer survivors and those at high risk, who are too often dismissed by the medical system.
In this episode, she shares her deeply personal journey through breast cancer, premature menopause, and medical gaslighting, shedding light on the systemic gaps in women’s health care. We’ll discuss why so many doctors lack menopause training, how medical bias harms women, and why patients must become their health advocates. Dr. Menn also gives us practical advice on preparing for doctor visits, pushing back against misinformation, and demanding the care we deserve.
