  • Today we talk about grief...

    We all have it whether we acknowledge it or not. And our society has limited the definition of grief to the loss of someone you care about, and then taught us to avoid the emotion all together.

    Today we talk about a more expanded view of grief and how you can move through the everyday grief that enters your life.

    Grief requires you to create a relationship with it. The relationship is a dance where you recognize it, experience it (without bypassing or just "getting over it"), and learn not only to relate to grief in a new way but to relate to yourself in a way that creates freedom and joy, even around challenges in your life.

    Grief is the sister energy to love. Make peace with grief and you open up to receive more love.

Grief was done for me

I lost my son 13 years ago and during that time and 6 years following I struggled with grief. No one teaches u how to deal with something like that! I didn’t see it at the time or there following but now I see it was done for me and not to me! There wasn’t any counseling groups for parents who have lost a child so I dealt with it on my own through my faith and talking with family and friends. I learned to let go and let God and during that growth period I was able to help so many other women who were struggling. My life’s passion is to help others and I hope that someday I will get the opportunity to counsel or help other women learn to heal through there loss and grief of losing a child. I am now on the other side and it has been a rough but beautiful journey.
