Acerca de esta escucha

Leave the pressures and demands of your daily life behind as you focus on the Zen within your soul. Zen and the Love of Nature takes you on a captivating journey from a single lotus flower to a rippling brook to the grandeur of Mount Fuji, giving a Zen perspective on the joy and beauty of our natural world.

As Japan's leading authority on Zen Buddhism, D.T. Suzuki uses simple, often lyrical language, as well as poetry and anecdotes, to give the listener a new appreciation of the wonders of the world around us. Zen and the Love of Nature is part of a series of programs taken from Suzuki's Zen and Japanese Culture.

very good

In a world that feels more and more contrived and artificial - all levels; from human to human interactions, to our relationship with nature, other species, our bodies, the food we eat, how we live, how we spend our time; this book gave me a deep deep warm feeling of resonance of seeing it differently. Even if choosing to live - or rather a different way of seeing leads to different choices of actions and life than many and finding reassurance in that; our world sure is a 'troublesome Buddha' almost everywhere.
This was very appreciated.

Refreshing

It is more of a commentary rather then anything else. It doesn’t allow for immersion in philosophical thought because it is always telling you “how things are”.
Even though it has bits of interesting information it doesn’t allow for a journey for me.

I was expecting something different
