this is the first time I've ever listened to a healthy Silver Book. I really enjoyed this storyline Um this screenwriter comes Tries to get away because he has like writer's block and It goes to this Ranch And he inspired. I enjoyed the story I enjoyed the siblings the narration was perfect these two were great

Yours to Take is such a cute, good-vibes small-town romance. Seriously, Gemma and Blake couldn't be more adorable if they tried. Plus, Emma Wilder and Aaron Shedlock's narration brought the characters to life perfectly.

Gemma works on her family's Dixon Creek Ranch in Idaho. A cowgirl through and through, she wishes nothing more than to take the reins of the place and continue her family's legacy. She knows the ins and outs of everything that happens there and is behind every creative and business idea that makes the ranch a hit with guests. She doesn't have time to date, and living in a small town means everyone knows everyone, so all the good ones are taken.

Blake needs to write a script for a new family drama series. The only problem is he hasn't been able to write anything since his last hit TV show ended. With only three months to spare, he books an extended stay at Dixon Creek Ranch, hoping to be inspired. And he finds inspiration alright, mostly in Gemma.

Their first encounter is funny and shitty, literally. But they share an undeniable connection. They make a deal: Gemma will show Blake around and everything that has to do with being a cowboy, while he teaches her all his bedroom secrets. FYI, Gemma is a virgin.

Gemma's big and meddling family is hilarious, and so are the townsfolk. And Yours to Take was the perfect first story in a series that I look forward to continuing.

The first fifty percent of this book in my opinion was cringe worthy but and I really mean it the last half was good. Narrators did a great job.

Well, I’m packing my bags and finding a ranch to live on. “Yours to Take” is a sweet, steamy and amazing start to the “Dixon Creek Ranch” series and I’m already counting down the days until the next book.

Blake Travers has been involved in Hollywood his whole life since his mother is a famous movie star. When he’s in a rut and uninspired to write his next screenplay, he takes a much needed vacation in Idaho at the Dixon Creek Ranch. There he meets Gemma Winchester, granddaughter of the owner. Gemma has been on the ranch her whole life and wants to help run it one day. The two are from completely different worlds but have a connection neither can deny.

Oh my gosh. I loved Blake and Gemma right from the start. I connected with both and loved their story. Blake is an adorable fish out of water and I loved reading about him figuring out ranch life and his newest screenplay. Gemma is so genuine and kind and someone I’d want to be friends with in real life. I could feel their attraction as I read and could not get enough, so much that I finished this book in one sitting. All of Gemma’s siblings were amazing and I cannot wait for their books. The little hints we got have me anxiously waiting for the next book.

Aaron Sherlock and Emma Wilder were the perfect choices to bring Blake and Gemma to life. Emma brought Gemma’s kind and genuine personality to life perfectly. And I’m always happy to hear Aaron portray a swoony and amazing guy like Blake. I can’t wait to listen to the rest of this series when it’s released.
