This is a messy story, but isn't that what life is? Our generation is a generation of vulnerability, authenticity, rawness, transparency. Sometimes this means you will be uncomfortable, many times poignant, always moved. The author reads with a lovely voice and gives such depth to her own story. I was encouraged by the voice she gave to many of my own personal wrestlings and the bravery she exhibited in her writing. Though young and new to Christianity, and Orthodoxy in particular, she has been blessed to be immersed deep within the wisdom of monastic life, and that richness comes through in her reflections. Anyone, whether you fully agree with all of her conclusions or not, will be immensely enriched by engaging this material whether in print or Audible. May the life she now lives grant her salvation, and may her prayers for us all be effectual in our own.

It had resonance with me as someone who was lost in the world of the “new age” and seeking peace. My search has of recently led me to a relationship with Christ in Orthodoxy. This fine lady’s story and her words are honest and revealing, a massive help and a relief to make me want to carry on. I thank the Lord from the bottom of my heart for this book.

The details of our unique journeys may vary, but the essence remains, we are all fallen and in need of God’s Fatherly and redemptive divine love.

Sr. Anastasia’s journey is raw and beautifully articulated in, “You Are Mine”. Having come from a “Christian” home, through the occult and eastern religious practices, and ultimately being led to the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church (Orthodoxy), I found myself weeping, joyfully smiling, and nodding in experiential sadness as I listened to the audio of this book.

I highly recommend this book for not only those coming from a similar background, but for all! Sr. Anastasia’s sensitiveness to the spiritual life, the wisdom gifted from her spiritual Father, Fr. Theophan, and the love of her Sisters and Mother will ignite a flame of repentance and desire to love God above all.

May this work continue to be a blessing to those God so chooses and may all glory, honor, and worship be to The Father, and The Son, and The Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages +

Not only does the audible version have a beautiful, soothing narration, but the content is SO relatable and validating. Having participated in 9 ayahuasca ceremonies with what I can only describe as DEMONIC terror-traps, and then to have gurus tell me I’m simply not “surrendering” enough, I now believe I was being protected by our Lord, Jesus Christ ☦️ All of the topics Sister Anastasia touches on are so humble, yet powerful. I cannot put into words how moving and timely this book appeared in my life. Thank you 🫶🏼
