I liked the whole book. I have enjoyed all of Sarah Graves books. I listen to the ones I couldn't get the book from the public library.

the humor and the suspense of Hake and Ellie.

This is one of my favorite series. The characters are realistic, the story is well plotted and the pacing is always good. I have to say that this book takes a turn to the dark side. There is a lot going on and Jakobia and Ellie are drawn into the mystery to save Victor of all people. This is a solid good mystery and I would recommend it to anyone who likes cozy mysteries as well as someone who like darker mysteries. This book walks a fine line.
