Anita Moorjani's book helped me reach a new level in forgiving myself, sparking joy in my life and understanding others with love. I've been down this journey before, tapped on my past, practiced meditation and never have I reached the level of compassion toward myself and others as I have while reading this book - and tapping through where I was stuck. nothing wrong with just being happy but this empowering, thought provoking book opens up a different perspective. I enjoyed the description of her NDE expansiveness too... a blissful reminder of deep meditation.

heart to heart

Compared with her last book, she seems to have answers for everything and sounds a little too confident like all knowing. Though she said vegetarian diet was bad for her and eggs gave her instant energy, I disagree. A whole food plant based diet is healthier than any other diet, it is cruel to have live stock animals and also the only way to save the planet is we stop eating animals

She is honest and herself

I listened to this book and found it spiritually enlightening!

The author speaks from her heart and encourages others to do the same throughout this book. So many of our beliefs are based on stories thousands of years old which don’t stand up today. This author gives voice to all that doesn’t stand up anymore. She is not the first being to bring up there is no hell except the one people expect to see when they die. Seth talked about this in his books with Jain Robert’s. Like Jain this author is being ignored for the real message they’re bringing to us. The message is a simple one which is that perceptions run our lives and it’s time for new ones as well as a new vision! I was always taught to hate and control the ego, but in reality the more you fight it the more you have to fight it. So, why not do as this author suggests and turn up our own lights to stand in our god hood? If we did then we ourselves would no longer fear death and be controlled through our fears. Imagine what that world would be like!

I’ve recently read several books which call on us to challenge our long held beliefs about religion including how we see those who we call spiritual teachers. How many times have we seen anything which challenges the established stories or narratives wiped out only to find out later they were true? Why are there so many TV shows and movies telling us our old belief system must come to an end? Why are there other shows telling us the version of God in the Bible must be replaced with a kinder, gentler God? Why are seeing old texts telling us to bring balance between men and women destroyed? It’s another way to keep us in fear and out of balance. I agree with the author and it’s time we came back into balance as a whole! The Age of Aquarius started in 2012 as the Mayan calendar changed from 12th Baktun to the 13th Baktun on the Winter Solstice. This means we come into harmony with feminine energy missing from so long in our world. However, religious zealots are still pushing the old agenda which is another reason to listen to this author! It’s time to be in balance!
