When attending Georgetown University, in DC, I enrolled in a basic psychology course to get an A, as many of us did, to raise our grade point average. Halfway through the course, our professor spent an hour on "Automatic-Writing". This book will explain the consequences of such action. It'll be short and sweet, right to the point. It's an extraordinary story, enjoy the experience, and benefit from it.

While I do feel bad for the author and it does seem like something happened to his wife. I sort of get the feeling like a lot is missing from this story. I feel like he's airing his dirty laundry a little.

I think his explanation of the occult practice is awkward and unsure. I can't explain it but I think may his wife wasn't the only person to be led astray.

Not what I expected

I thought this book was about automatic writing but it is the complete opposite, it is about Don't do automatic writing. Seriously? It is a book written to make amends for the dad not being able to see his children. I admire that but feel that he should have written them a letter and not written a book about it.

I really hoped to understand more about automatic writing when I got this book but learned astonishingly little about the topic. Instead, this is the story of a jilted husband's rationale that his divorce certainly couldn't have been at all his fault but, no, it only happened because his wife was possessed and lost her mind/left her body. Were she in her right mind and had never messed with auto writing, surely, she would never have left him. Therapy is recommended if you ever hope to have a relationship with those children you seem to truly miss while offering them excuses instead of honesty.

One of the main reasons that I bought the book is because there were no other reviews writtwn about it. Only one other rating as well.

The book seemed interesting to me for a long time, but I never went through with the purchase. I finally bought the book and listened to it in a single sitting. The book was well written and the story was interesting.

The story wasn't exactly what I was expecting, which is actually probably a good thing. It is, according to the author, an account of the actual events that took place during his life. He takes the reader through his early life, his marriage, the walk-in, and then the events that occur after the walk-in.

The book uses some terminology that I was not familiar with, such as:
"Walk-In" - An entity that takes over a body when the current soul is ready to leave, but chooses to do so without suicide. A sort of "recycling" of a body.
"Automatic Writing" - Commonly interpreted as an individual that channels a spirit or entity and allows the entity use of their hand for writing answers to questions asked by a third party.

It's an interesting read/listen and I would recommend it if this sort of thing peaks your interest. Keep in mind that it is short, so if your looking for an hours long epic, this isn't it.

It is an interesting account of events and will get you thinking.
