Some of them are common knowledge, and others come directly from his several decades of a working as a VO pro, producer, director and coach. I've worked with Marc since 2018 and had previously read portions of the paper copy of V-Oh! Listening to the entire book revealed many additional insights I've been able to immediately apply to my VO work. The chapter lengths are just right, the examples provided drive home the key learning points, and unsurprisingly Marc's tone and delivery make it all very enjoyable to hear. I especially appreciated the glossary as well as the director instructions sections, they helped make sense of certain terms whose precise meaning had escaped me for years. Marc provides plenty of references to support and supplement his accumulated wisdom, and throws in a dash of humour throughout the material to make it that much more memorable. Highly recommended for seasoned professionals and newcomers alike.
