For the past 5 years, I have been on a historical romance novel "kick". 98% of what I read is this genre- Focusing on regency England. Maya Banks and this novel are easily in my top 10 of at least 1500 novels.

One of the absolute best historical romances of all time

From the first few minutes, I was entranced by this book. The storyline was compelling, the characters were charming and relatable, and the sense of realism in the romantic desires of the heroine were refreshing.
I like this author and have read many of her works, however, after listening to the first 3 books of this series and finding myself bored, I almost didn't listen to this one, but I am so glad that I did. In my opinion it's the best of the set.
As always, Tim Campbell gave a phenomenal performance as narrator. He is hands down one of the best narrators I've ever heard.

I loved this so much! The love story was sweet. The dash of mystery was perfect because it didn’t overpower the story. And of course Tim Campbell is an excellent narrator. Great book! I loved it.

Ok story. Saw it coming...the big *surprise *. I liked Grey until the end then it got to be sort of silly and overly melodramatic. But not a bad read.

enjoy this confection... the usual sexy historical fair and maya banks evocative prose brought to life by the narrator. characters not quite fleshed out, the hero backstory a little weak but the love story feels true enough and the mystery enjoyable. heroine a little tdtl but makes sense given her background as pampered sheltered nobility. her choices a little incongruous and uneven but the pace is enough not to be too annoying or overly angsty.

I’m so happy that I chose this book. I really enjoyed our books in the series. The narrator was fantastic. He brought all the characters to life. The author did a great job keeping the characters interesting.

Great story and love Tim’s voice!!!! I’m hoping you write sequels...many many of them because I think Stewart needs a happy ever after too as well as Jana’s brothers
