Especially, since they have somehow, become separated from their caregivers. How does this new world with its multi-cultures, and many faults, its beauty, idiosyncrasies, even ugliness, look to alien eyes? And how will they react to the various situations? A bird-boy among the refugees; invisible ice-skinned inquisitives with a moral judgement of their own, to a young girl of eleven forced into sensual slavery, when she has never before known the intimacy of a man. What are they to think, when the worst of society gets to them first? Can we blame them for their reaction...or the results?
