Have you ever wished you could sit down with someone and ask all the big questions about Jesus, God and the Catholic Church?
Look no further – this is the book for you!
Truth Runs Thicker With Lager is a dialogue between two regular guys, Thomas, a non-believer, and Chris, a Catholic.
In their cozy neighborhood pub between generous swigs of beer, these two men cover a wide array of topics, such as "Who is God?", "Who is Jesus?", "What is the Bible?", "Do Catholics believe in UFOs?" and much more.
In discussing these topics, Chris appeals to reason and logic, invoking greats such as Pope John Paul II, C.S. Lewis, Peter Kreeft and G.K Chesterton along the way.
Through their conversation, Tom gets answers to his deepest questions and comes to see that Chris’s faith is not baseless, but grounded in rationality.
Recommended by Cardinal Gérald-Cyprien Lacroix, primate of Canada: “I am happy to see this wide-ranging dialogue between a believer and a non-believer in print. It answers modern-day questions about the faith in a way that is both credible and well-structured. In a nutshell, it lays out many things you ever wanted to know about the basics of Christianity but were never able to ask. I pray that it bear much fruit in the hearts of those who read it.”
