When Athena Haddad's father and brother are killed, she busies herself working at her wellness studio and helping her mom fight MS. I have loved all of Cami's books so far! I have not only enjoyed each story but have learned something valuable from every one of them! She is a fabulous storyteller! And Amy McFadden is the perfect narrator bring her stories to life.
I am an avid reader with eclectic tastes. I enjoy Cam's stories especially for her sense of humour, imagination all leaving me with hope & happy feelings!

I absolutely loved the entire series including a few books that wasn't in the set. Cami I love the way your stories unfold. You paint such a clear picture of each character and the setting. I love the simple but perfect romance storyline in your books. What a pleasant listen... thank you. You picked the absolute best narrator of all times Mr. Jakobi Diem...your voice, such a beautiful instrument. Thank you for sharing it with the world.

While I was delighted that I didn’t have to forward through numerous, inappropriate sex scenes and deal with inappropriate foul language

Super wholesome and cute, I love the added action and the interesting backstory. Really love how Jakobi's voice complements the book and I couldn't imagine anyone else narrating this series.

I the story is just abdolutely stupid...could NEVER happen! Plus the FMC was so very hard to like. She wasn't "prickly" as stated in the book but downright rude, judgemental and hypocritical.

Also, there was some really rough racial stereotyping going on pointing out ethnicity differences and incorrect use of slang. For instance at one example the phrase Mac Daddy is used to suggest the characters want to kiss. In reality a Mac Daddy is a pimp so use of it as a verb would mean you want to pimp yourself out? "Macking" on the other hand is an old fashion term for making out. Then of course there's the copycat of the movie The Rock... chem-warfare & take over of Alcatraz...PLEEEEASE!
It really irks me when the writers ( or editors) don't do their home work.

Finally the narrator has a very masculine sultry voice nice!)... but his delivery is monotone and run together. This makes it hard to distinguish when the pov changes for the couple's inner monologs.

This was the third book I read from this author I couldn't do it. I really wanted to finish the series eve though the first 2 books were not great. I did not finish this one. I find her books very repetitive in how the characters act but also what they say in the book. The same thing over and over. The book wouldn't be half as long if she didn't repeat herself.

It takes a lot for me not to finish one. I only got a few chapters in and could not stand the female lead

She stereotypes the male lead. But then gets angry when he stereotypes her right back.
