Acerca de esta escucha
In a time long past, along the Nile, a peace treaty is signed between the powers of Egypt and Rome. As an act of good faith, Arsinoe, Pharaoh Ptolemy's daughter, invites the Roman envoy Albanus to dinner, making for him her three stone soup. As Ptolemy sees the attraction between the two, the pharaoh decides to drive a wedge between the two.
The King of Egypt isn't the only one stirring up trouble, for when Albanus crosses paths with Brim, the trickster tells him of the princess's plight, and the honorable solider makes a Faustian Deal in order to help her.
The princess will don a jackal skin cloak and Albanus will put on a lion skin, and both will journey far from their homelands and each other before they find their way back to each other once more. Fortunately, though there are secret tricksters in the world, there are also secret guardians.
