Acerca de esta escucha
Samantha, also known as Sam by those who knew her personally loved where she was from. Her childhood was full of ups and downs but at the end of the day, whose childhood was perfect? Especially where she was from. Her city was the typical urban environment that outsiders would call "hood" or "ghetto", but to Sam it was simply home. She loved her city. She loved growing up with her friends Brandon, Jazmine and Francis.
Francis was different from the others however. He was closer to Sam than the others were. More like a close family member than a friend. They were very close and nearly inseparable from when they were children up until the day...The day the police found his body buried behind an abandoned building. The news came as a shock to anyone who knew him.
Anyone who knew him and what he stood for found it impossible for anyone to want to harm him.
He wasn't a street dude by any means. He never displayed any of the typical negative energy. He made his stance on loving the people around known daily. He had a special place in his heart for the youth in his city. His mission was to inspire every child he could. His goal was to reach a position to educate and motive as many kids in the city of Hayward he could. He wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and pass on the positive messages and lessons, as him and his friends had received from his father as they were growing up.
He didn't have enemies. He didn't have people that disliked him or held any grudges toward him...Well there was one person. Brandon. Brandon grew up in Hayward as well. Unlike Francis, Brandon was the street guy. He was well connected in the illegal world and even ran a crew who treated him as if he were a crime boss. Brandon felt like "the man" in the streets and was very proud of it. He was also the main suspect in Francis's death. At least that's how everyone close to the situation saw him. According to the story, the last time Francis was seen alive was the night of his fiancé's birthday party. He ended the night in an altercation with Brandon. The story goes...Well, read the book to find out the story.
Who killed Francis?

Didn’t see it coming..
This was a whodunnit that I could not figure out. It didn’t hit me til the very end and I was really surprised! And they really got on my nerves with the back and forth.
