(P)2001 L.A. Theatre WorksReseñas editoriales
Peter Ackerman's bedroom farce is a well-recorded over-the-top observation on modern sexuality. The cast of characters includes three sets of lovers - gay, straight, and other, who sort through their hang-ups and turn-ons in a sassy, sexy free-for-all. The acting ranges from vanilla to tutti-frutti, but all concerned, including the audience, seem to have agreed to simply enjoy the ride. At times gratuitously shocking, the play is like an audio Scorpion Bowl with straws for six. Don't know what a Scorpion Bowl is? It's the exotic tropical drink with the strong warning at your local Chinese restaurant: "May make you forget what you've said or done."
Reseñas de la Crítica
"The hilarious dialogue just gets better and better as the lines fly by." (New York Daily News)
"These naturally funny actors...turn the mating dance into a ribald gavotte." (The New York Times)

Historia
Avani's favourite thing to do is bury her nose in romance novels, but, honestly, life can't be trusted to make the stories real, right? But in the bookstore where she works, a man walks in, straight out of the pages of her favourite love stories. Aman is hot, successful, seems to know what she's going to say before she's said it, and just cannot get enough of her. In short, he's perfect. Then why is Avani losing her mind, ignoring the advice of her BFFs and trying to convince herself that he's just too good to be true?
