 This second book in the Theron series is an action/adventure story. In order to find a new source of alternative energy, Theron travels to the Amazon. There, he encounters all sorts of perils, dealing with them with his usual ghostly dispatch. Once again, the tale is spiced with comic relief and glib banter. Be on the lookout for Theron and the Baby in September. If you’re unfamiliar with Theron, you should probably know he’s an extraordinary ghost with a variety of amazing powers. After all, he did fight his way back from heaven’s gate in order to solve the mystery of his own murder. This is all described in his first journal, entitled, Theron: the Amusing Musings of a Ghost. Of course, this was published under a nom de plume. A wealthy, carefree, party animal in life, Theron moves on to discover there is more to the mortal plane than he ever dreamed while living. Naturally (or should I say unnaturally?), his sardonic stream-of-consciousness keeps us aware of all that is going on. When he learns his brokerage firm’s reputation is in jeopardy, he must find a way to redeem it. This involves a new company that has shown great promise in developing a source of alternative energy. After recommending the stocks to his clients, he is forced to wonder if the product is legitimate. The only way to be sure is to find the company’s expeditionary base on the Upper Basin of the Amazon River. The trip proves to be an eye-opener in many ways. Although Theron doesn’t know it, his afterlife is about to change, along with his aspect on life. New characters are introduced to the series. This is one book you don’t want to miss. Author’s note: In my third installment of the Theron series, Theron helps an old friend find his family’s lost treasure. Theron and the Baby will be released in September.
