A collection of classic works by Edgar Allan Poe, American author, poet, editor and literary critic. Best known for his tales of mystery and the macabre, Poe was one of the earliest American practitioners of the short story and is considered the inventor of the detective fiction genre. Great compilation of works. If you are a fan of Poe, you should enjoy these.
The narration was well done. The ebook was free and the audio was .99 - really can't get a better deal than that!

I love Poe - great to listen to these

Simply, Poe is great. The narrator is not. it was difficult to listen to these stories with the narrator, barely being able to read his lines properly. I have nothing against the narrator, however, it’s almost as if he never read these stories before.

Terrible narrator

I wish I knew how to block a reader because I would. They have a nice voice but read like they’ve been given the text four minutes ago and are totally winging it.

Further, just volume 3? Does this story have a name? It seems to mostly (entirely?) be one story so far.

The story is okay. Reminds me of Moby Dick in some places but he keeps talking about how spooky it’s going to get but it mostly just gets racist, as old books often do.

It would be cool if the Plus catalog books were worth the subscription!
