The first book was thrilling, but I was worried it was a fluke and tried not to hold too great of expectations for this book. Wow! I was blown away by the writing and the performance. Even the less action-packed sections were emotionally gripping. This book is a beautiful work of art and I'm looking forward to the next book already. The only disappointment was going to the website to find the next mini-book hasn't been released yet.

I looooved this book two of the series! Learning about the orishas more and more is so amazing. I cannot stress enough seeing Black people and our culture being uplifted in such a manner it’s truly beautiful. The first book was just as enjoyable for me as was the second book. The author definitely tackled the emotions and feelings that we all experienced during our teens and into adulthood. The part about losing loved ones and friends, is a pain I know all too well and seeking help and having support is fundamental. Glad to see that was expressed and shared so it can help many others. It’s so nice to see that TJ is also growing up and figuring out himself in life and at IFA academy. Definitely love how we got to explore other cultures and their deities in this book.

To say this book is phenomenal is surely a greatly vast understatement I must say. The true tragedy that lies at the end of this book is the fact that there aren’t MORE books like this out there, hence why you should write MORE, much MORE books. We need this. Thank you. 😊
