If you could sum up The Warlock in three words, what would they be?

I love stories about the world of magic. My real life is rather stressful on many points and it is nice to get carried away to a place of fantasy.

What did you like best about this story?

The story keeps a great pace, it is appropriate to share with my 11 yr old daughter and I find myself lamenting that this is the last book in the series.

Which scene was your favorite?

too many to pick - perhaps each of the awakening of the twins' powers

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

The magic continues

A great book to escape the chaos of life!

I began to deeply dislike a character at one point and almost gave the book up but thankfully I stuck with it and it vastly improves up to the surprise ending. Looking forward to the next book.

Book five brings many changes and pieces of information to the immense puzzle. The role of the fifth book is to setup the sixth, which it does extraordinarily well. The best part of this book is how many of the loose ends are now becoming woven tighter and more directionally to a conclusion. Although by the last page, you may have some hypotheses about where things are going, I think there are many different possibilities that you cannot discount. On to the sixth and last novel – the final battle is coming.

VERY imaginative and fun series! To those who think he's milking a "cash cow" I say DON"T BUY IT! I personally am glad it's not over yet.It's not about getting to the end,it's the journey! So if you're not enjoying the ride get off the bus! For the rest who get immersed in the characters and creepy monsters,you will like this one too!

Book 5 is going Strong!

The series so far has been pretty good. Enjoyable, and I think I’d like to read them. I liked the first two narrators, but the last one (who I believe narrates the last 4 books) isn’t my favorite. I can hear him swallowing and smacking his lips constantly. His accents are inconsistent, but I think that’s more because there are so many to keep straight in a single conversation that they bleed together and he forgets who he is. I’d like to finish the story so I’m dealing with it, but likely won’t ever listen to anything from this narrator again.

If you could sum up The Warlock in three words, what would they be?

Tense, exciting and a bit of a whirlwind. Mr Scott has really created an amazing world with some great characters and a wonderful story. If you have been following the entire series you will certainly enjoy some of the twists that have been introduced in this book and, whilst its a long book, the series seems to be rushing to the climax.

The growth of the two main characters is good although I have to admit that they both whine a bit - feeling sorry for themselves and their place in history. It is easy for me to forget that they are both only 15.

Apart from that I am really enjoying this series.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Definitely Billy the Kid as he is the most fun - apart from the fact that he is one of the coolest ever!

What does Paul Boehmer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He allows me to enjoy the book whilst stuck in traffic - Its frowned upon to read whilst driving so thanks Paul.
