I loved the story and the narrator. I am now sad the book is done. I wish the other books were available in English.

Story is a classic tale of has nothing and rises in an academy setting. What I like about this story is that it seems to be headed in a direction where the main character breaks the isolation. I think too often stories like to embrace a lonely tale of an individual with talent is recognized only to continue pushing others away.

The series is far along in its native German but there is not a release schedule I can find for English translation.

The narrator is male for a female MC but I think it fits in with the large amount of male characters.

Took a chance because there were no reviews. Did not regret! I’m about to go read the rest of them. The only downside is that I can’t google anything because the book is too new!

The world building is great, if you're a fan of Torsten Weitze's other series The 13th Paladin you'll love this one too! Gildart Jackson does an amazing job as a narrator. I cant wait for the next book to be translated and recorded :)
