The Ten Gates, with Brother Phap Hai, is taken from a 12-week course: Dharma from Deer Park Monastery, a meditation practice center in the tradition of the Vietnamese Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh. The course consists of 12 weekly sessions, each on a different theme and suggested reflections and exercises for us to practice. It is up to you whether you enjoy this course as an individual practitioner or together with some friends on the path.

I really love this audiobook and ideas shared. I do wonder though why the mention of questions or handouts is mentioned but not provided. I’m wondering where to gain access to them. It be great to add them as a PDF download with the book or if this info is in the physical book to share that so readers and buyers know they may need to go somewhere else to get the questions mentioned. Another solution might be to just cut these mentions and see if the content stands on it’s own and strong enough without the questions.

Beyond that frustration, I have been enjoying listening in weekly chunks to explore and reflect on the lessons. I do want to explore and go deeper and/or try to implement the ideas shared.

I do think it’s a great book exploring good topics in the Plum Village tradition.

Interesting content but would love handouts/worksheets mentioned.
