The statue is of a boy kneeling on a stone plinth, his arms outstretched as if begging for his life. A life that was taken anyway. His name was Alfred, he's been dead for one-hundred-years but the town of Middle Gratestone still commemorate his death every year. Today is the centenary of his death. Today is the day he has been waiting for.
Jane and her friends are innocent to everyone except Alfred. Jane is fighting a bitter battle with Ginny, both want Jack. Soon, the three teenagers will find themselves the unwitting prey as Alfred uses his supernatural powers to hunt them down in their idyllic town. Can they put aside their differences to run, hide and fight to survive long enough, to unravel the mystery of Alfred before he gets his revenge? Or, will they take his place among the dead?
